Hello! My name is Kathy Markham. I have enjoyed teaching childbirth classes
since 1988 and have attended over 100 births. My current childbirth
educator certifications are through Lamaze and ICEA. I was previously
certified to teach the Bradley Method and Hypnobirthing. I am also
currently certified as a doula by DONA and ICEA.
In 2000, I helped establish the Birth Care Network, an organization of
pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum support professionals dedicated to
promoting positive, informed childbirth experiences in the
